Welcome Back! New Policies and Procedures
To Our Valued Friends and Patients,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. It has been wonderful to re-open our practice, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we adjust and fine tune our “new normal.” While many aspects of our lives have changed during this unprecedented time, one thing has always remained the same: Our continued total commitment to your health and safety.
We have learned some lessons following our first week back in the office that we would like to share with you.
Infection control has always been our top priority in our practice as you have noticed during your visits to our practice. We follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We have been closely following the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on all the new guidelines that have been issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures adhere to each agencies’ recommendations and are safe for you and our team.
Here are some changes we have made in order to protect you when it is time for your next appointment.
When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and call and notify us of your arrival. We will then communicate as to when it is appropriate to enter the practice.
Please wear a mask when you come for your visit.
When you arrive to the office, each patient will have temporal thermometer temperature taken along with oxygen levels assessed.
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you and allow us the time to completely disinfect our treatment and public areas.
We are scheduling extra time for each procedure so that we can minimize the number of people in the reception area at one time as well as thoroughly clean and sanitize each room between patients. This means that you should allow a little more time than normal for your visit.
We very much look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call Ai or Sarah at our office at (303)777-8850.
Thank you for being our friend and patient. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back. Be well.
